Summers here

We might all be back in our wellies at the moment – but summer is apparently here and the shops all have fully stocked aisles of sunscreen.

But as the holiday season approaches and we start thinking about buying our sunscreen it is often difficult to know which to choose. Should it protect us against UVA or UVB rays – or both? What do the star-ratings mean? What do the SPF (Sun Protection Factors) actually mean? And should we be using cream, lotions, sprays or oils?

And then you have the multitude of brands to decipher. Do you need to spend a fortune on top of the range branded sunscreen, or does the own label perform just as well?
